Welcome to my website.
A little bit about myself as we all want to hear the artists story...
Living in the heart of Staffordshire UK, is a great source of creative inspiration as I love walking along canals and on Cannock Chase.
As a graduate in art and design oohhh many years ago, I have followed a creative path in one form or another but I do love to share my knowledge and have chosen specialist creative areas in: wet feltmaking, needle felting, batik painting with hot beeswax, alcohol inks, gelli plate printing.
As you will see in my gallery I particularly love using colour as I have been inspired by the art and textiles on my many travels to countries like Bali, Bangkok, Mexico, Morocco and more.
My Art training.
Foundation - Degree in Art & Design then I gained a teaching qualification.
I am a member of the SAA, Artist Newsletter, International Felt Society and the Batik Guild Worldwide.
My previous background was as a Interior designer, running a small interior design business from my workshop in my garden for many years. Teaching in Further Education and Artist in Residence in primary and secondary schools. It was great fun creating large wall-hangings out of woolly fibres and recycled materials.
